Jobs Peak Trailhead

A 3.5-mile hiker-only trail allows travel between Foothill Road and forest service land above, through Jobs Peak Ranch subdivision. After the subdivision is developed, the path will seem fairly civilized, with fencing delineating the boundary between the trail’s easement and the private property of the upscale homes along the way. However, once recreationists reach government land, off-trail access to rugged and remote Jobs Canyon is guaranteed. Summer temperatures can be quite hot, so plan on an early-morning or early-evening hike to beat the heat.

Above the subdivision, a newer section of trail continues across forest service land to a junction with the Valley View Loop, which is a worthy 1.7-mile diversion for those with the extra time and energy. Beyond the junction, the trail continues to connections leading to the Fay-Luther Trailhead."
