Douglas Area Rural Transit (DART)
Welcome to Douglas Area Rural Transit (DART), Douglas County's public transportation service. DART provides safe, reliable, and accessible transportation throughout Douglas County for residents, visitors, seniors, and individuals with disabilities.
Our fleet is fully accessible and equipped with wheelchair lifts and bicycle racks to accommodate a variety of transportation needs.

DART Express Fixed Route
DART Express is a deviated fixed-route service connecting Minden, Gardnerville, the Gardnerville Ranchos, and South Douglas County. The route includes convenient transfer points with Tahoe Transportation District (TTD) for connections to Carson City and South Lake Tahoe.

DART Dial-A-Ride
DART Dial-A-Ride is a shared-ride, curb-to-curb transportation service for:
- Seniors age 60 and older
- ADA-certified riders of any age who are unable to use fixed-route service
Dial-A-Ride provides transportation to medical appointments, shopping, community programs, and other essential destinations. Reservations are required and should be made at least five (5) days in advance.
