Our campaign is in full swing as we take on the lengthy Call of Cthulhu campaign, Horror on the Orient Express every Saturday.  *Seats are currently full, but spectator seats are always available! If you're interested in joining the campaign, or starting a new one, please contact the library.

Email the library at [email protected] to receive an invitation to our Discord server if you’d prefer to join digitally or to receive information about the current campaign. For an invite to the server please provide your name, age, and library card number. The current campaign is recommended for ages 13+.

Prior knowledge of the current system is not needed to play and we’re always happy to help new players along the way. If you would just like to attend to see how the game works and to gauge your own interest, spectator spots are always available.

Please note this is for ages 13+; the rules are the same as any program, and no foul or sexually explicit language will be tolerated.

Neat for a treat 2024

Keep the Forest Neat for a Treat at the Zephyr Cove Library

Let's keep the forest neat for a treat again this summer!
Located in Zephyr Cove Park, the Zephyr Cove Library is surrounded by hiking trails, a playground, a disc golf course, a softball field, and tennis courts. Explore the beautiful landscape with the family and keep an eye out for any trash you may find. Kids and teens 17 and under will get a sweet treat when they pick up trash in the Zephyr Cove Park. Come get a bag at the library and bring in the trash from the trails, the playground, and the field to collect your reward.
Our Trash-for-Treats activity will run May 1 through August 30 and is sponsored by the Friends of the Douglas County Public Library. Our Library hours are Tuesday: 9am-5pm, Wednesday: 10am-7pm, Thursday & Friday: 9am-5pm.
