Douglas County Board of County Commissioners Accepting Applications for Volunteer Advisory Board PositionsMinden, NV- The Douglas County Board of Commissioners is currently accepting applications for appointments to the following volunteer advisory boards:

Carson Water Subconservancy District – applicants must represent the agricultural community. This appointed applicant would serve out the existing term which expires December 2022 at which point, the appointee can re-apply for a 4-year term.

Advisory Board to Manage Wildlife – this appointed applicant would serve out the existing term which expires December 2023 at which point, the appointee can re-apply for a 3-year term.

Senior Services and Public Transit Advisory Board – applicants must be a Douglas County resident living in the Lake Tahoe Township. This appointed applicant would serve out the existing term which expires December 2023 at which point, the appointee can re-apply for a 2-year term.

The application deadline for all positions is Monday, January 31, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Appointments will be made at the Board of County Commissioners Meeting held Thursday, February 17, 2022.
