
Gardnerville, NV – The Douglas County Community Services Department is calling on residents and businesses to help shape the future of the Douglas County Fairgrounds by participating in an important Visioning Workshop on Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at the Fairgrounds Pavilion, 920 Dump Road, Gardnerville, NV 89410.
As part of ongoing efforts to enhance the Fairgrounds, the department is developing a Land Use Site Plan and conducting a feasibility study for a potential Indoor Event Center. This workshop offers community members a vital opportunity to provide input, share ideas, and collaborate on the future development of this important community resource. This study is being funded with a Conserve Nevada grant received from the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources and room tax.

- Exploring Potential Opportunities
- Addressing Site Constraints Through Stakeholder Collaboration
"We need your help to ensure the Fairgrounds continue to serve our community’s evolving needs," said Deputy Director of Community Services Ryan Stanton. "We invite everyone to join us and contribute their ideas to help make the vision a reality."
