2019 Master Plan Land Use Map Update (Approved)

Master Plan update

Background

In 2016, Douglas County began the process to update the Master Plan.  A draft of the 2016 update can be found here.  This draft was never approved by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC).  In 2019 the process to update the plan began again with an update first to the Master Plan Map.  At a joint workshop of the Board of County Commissioners and the Planning Commission on May 23, 2019 the BOCC and the Planning Commission provided direction to staff to revise the land use map for Douglas County . The minutes of the 2019 workshop are available here .
