2011 Douglas County Master Plan
Douglas County adopted a twenty year Master Plan in 1996. The Master Plan, or Comprehensive Plan, is required by Nevada Revised Statutes (Chapter 278.150) for the purpose of providing long-term guidance on the development of cities, counties, and regions in Nevada. The 15 Year Update of the Douglas County Master Plan (2011) was adopted by the Douglas County Board of Commissioners on March 1, 2012. The 2011 Douglas County Master Plan contains two volumes.
Volume I includes the issues, goals, policies, and actions for each of the Elements. Volume II contains the County Profile Chapter as well as technical information on existing conditions. Each volume can be viewed and downloaded as well as individual chapters.
