Minden, NV- A fire has started in the Douglas County Foothill area. Voluntary evacuations have been but in place for Apple Creek, Foothill, Mottsville and the surrounding areas have been asked to remain alert and stay vigilant. Mottsville Rd is currently closed at this time. This is a fast-moving fire and conditions are subject to change. Drivers heading in that direction should seek an alternative route.
