Douglas County Opens Muller Parkway Connection to Improve Regional Mobility

Douglas County, NV – Douglas County is pleased to announce the opening of Muller Parkway from Toler Lane connecting to Buckeye Road. This piece of the planned Muller Parkway represents continued progress toward improving regional connectivity, easing traffic congestion, and enhancing overall traffic circulation within the existing roadway network. The project is consistent with Douglas County’s adopted transportation and master planning documents, which have long identified Muller Parkway as an important connection to improve traffic circulation, reduce congestion on existing roadways, and support the County’s overall transportation system.

This section of Muller Parkway was designed and constructed to account for drainage and flooding conditions. While some additional grading and drainage work may continue within the public right-of-way, the County has confirmed that the roadway and its associated infrastructure meet all applicable design standards and are safe to open.

“This project represents our commitment to building future-ready infrastructure,” said Douglas County Board of County Commissioners Chairman Mark Gardner. “Muller Parkway will improve mobility, enhance safety, and support economic development for years to come.”

Motorists are encouraged to familiarize themselves with the new roadway configuration and observe all posted traffic signs and speed limits. The County also reminds drivers to remain cautious as traffic patterns adjust in the coming weeks.

Douglas County extends its appreciation to residents and businesses for their patience during construction and looks forward to the benefits this new connection will bring to the community.
